Homes & Antiques

I've recently just finished a bit of work experience with BBC Homes & Antiques magazine. Based in Bristol, jobs involved writing odd bits and pieces, researching and other general tasks. It was great to get further insight into how a magazine works - suprising how few people (a team of 5 or so who build a team of writers, designers and stylists) can create a very well executed magazine. Well... it is the BBC...
highlights: sorting through a vintage collection of circa 1820-1950 swimwear, accessories, posters and postcards. Definitely fallen in love with a few pieces.. they were used for a shoot which will be in the July issue (will post when it's on).
