I Will Live Abroad part 2

Vegas is awesome! free drinks, neon lights, hot sunshine, ultimate tackiness, free entertainment, a fake Eiffel Tower. All Vegas needs now is a British themed Hotel and Casino with London Bridge and red phoneboxes. Love it.

a commercial sunshine city on the coast.
LA is maybe not for me. I have never liked Thespians or fame wannabes, and LA is definitely not sparse of them.
The Hollywood hills look pretty and warm in the sunset, and the views from the Observatory are possibly the nicest I've seen. Plenty of heavily influenced and/or intoxicated crazy people talking to themselves however.

a few things i love...

As I'm about to move back home after graduating from university, I realised that my bedroom is very much the same as when I was 16 years old. Moving onto 23 and my style changed, the Disney pink and lilac walls doesn't do it for me anymore. It's in desperate need of a change! Even though the thought of moving back home does not excite me in the slightest, I feel that newly decorating it will make the transfer much more enticing.

I was having a browse and came across these sweet garden inspired wallpaper prints and bed linen.

Inspirational Pulication

Along with my prints I designed and created a small A5 publication that depicts my inspirations and concept methodology. Inspired by Paul Smith - You Can Find Inspiration in Anything and Todd Selby - The Selby is in Your Place, using features within my personal space I produced illustrations of each feature, inspiration words and and mood board. The book also includes inspirations from other creatives, concept stores and artwork.

The aim of the book is to depict what inspires me as a designer and where my inspirations derive from.

Final Design, Product and Placement

I received my prints back from the printers but the printer man obviously couldn't do his job properly and they did not look like my designs. Humpf. So, I shall be printing them onto cotton cushion covers and jersey crew neck tees using heat transfer paper and the heat press.. hopefully I shall get my shoot done in time before hand in!

This is a page from my portfolio which I am busy working on as well as FMP. Busy times.
