Oasis Window Display

Whilst shopping yesterday I wandered past Oasis and LOVED their window display. 70's trend inspired, they've continued the theme through to the props and overall concept of the display- a 1970's old fashioned television with dials. Burnt oranges, browns and bold prints- the clothing reflects the 70's trend of Spring/Summer 2011. Each window depicts the interior of a classic 70's living room. The props include cutouts of bold garish wallpapers, retro armchairs and kitsch decorative lampshades and decor.
By far the most creative visual merchandising I've seen in my local shopping mall! -trust me.. this is good for Patchway!

LFW Autumn/Winter 2011

Possibly too many photos that I like from the past week to upload! I've been looking at print details- here's two that I love- especially Mulberry.

I had a telephone interview today for a Visual Merchandising role. It surprisingly went quite well- I did plenty of research before hand. It gave me a chance to get back up to date with trends and S/S 11 - I admit I've been slacking on it lately. LFW starting today, good time to start I think!
